We had the good fortune of connecting with StefnRock and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi StefnRock, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I think having people in your life who you care about and who you care about you makes you successful. We get to do what we love for a living. We don’t have a lot of money but we have everything we need and we’re happy. I think that’s about as successful as you can be.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are both singers/musicians. We’ve both been performing most of our lives. We met 10 years ago at an open mic in Las Vegas. We got together and started playin a coffee house for tips. People started to notice us and we started to get paid gigs. It’s not easy there. It takes a lot of perseverance to get even one job.
We played more than 200 shows a year right up to Covid. Everything changed after that so we moved to Prescott for a fresh start. It was a great move for us.
We have lots of work lined up and the people here are so nice and welcoming.
We just want to be able to earn a living and make people happy while we do it!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely Whiskey Row and the courthouse plaza. It’s jam packed with great bars/restaurants and live music every night! We haven’t been here long so we don’t know a lot of the best spots.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’ve been performing together for 10 years. There have been lots of people to recognize along the way. I guess I’d have to thank my mom for giving me a strong work ethic and teaching me to never give up.
