We had the good fortune of connecting with Tabitha Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tabitha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
It was never my intention to turn my hobby into a small business, but after creating items for myself and having others request similar or customized items and seeing how excited they were when they received the final product, I realized this was something I really enjoy doing and there’s a market for the items I make.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My small business creates and sells a variety of products ranging from t-shirts and accessories to drinkware and car decals. We offer both ready to purchase and customized products. I never intended to start a small business, but the requests for my products and the positive feedback from happy customers were the push I needed to turn my passion into a something more. It has had it’s challenges, especially with relocating and simultaneously renaming/rebranding my business, but it is also very fulfilling and rewarding when I create products people love!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The first place I would take anyone to visit would be the Grand Canyon! It is by far one of the most BEAUTIFUL places I have ever seen and the vibe and presence there is indescribable. It feels like such an honor to be able to take in such beauty and iconic scenery! A picnic and hike at the Grand Canyon is one of my family’s favorite things to do. I could spend the entire week hiking different gorgeous trails just in and around the Flagstaff area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family! Without the support of my loving kiddos and husband I wouldn’t be able to do what I love! They all help in any way I need whether that means helping me unpack and inventory a ton of blank items, cleaning up after big projects, helping curate our social media and website posts, etc.; they are always there to help no matter what. My wonderful family is always there with encouragement and positive vibes and help me keep pushing through long days or big projects.
