Hi Tomer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business with the goal to be financially stable and to be my own boss.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are the leading agency for Final Expense Insurance. We are able to offer seniors Whole Life Insurance and an affordable price while helping them with their burial and cremation needs. Getting to where I am today was a bit of a struggle. I was independent for many years as a broker, selling all times of insurance policies. What really change for me was when I made the decision to focus on one product and become the expert. Instead of being a jack of all trades, I focused on learning my craft. You wouldn’t go to a divorce lawyer and have him/her represent you in a car accident would you? Doing this was a bit of a challenge because you have clients that want you to help them with all their insurance needs and to have to redirect those clients to someone else because you focus on one product was hard at first. By doing so, it opened up my time, allowed me to find the right clients, build my business and teach other agents to do the same. My agency started to truly grow when I did this because having to teach agents one product versus multitude of products is way easier. Simplify your business and specialize in what you do best.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The first place I would take them is to all the local restaurants. Here in LA we have tons of options. whether it be Howlin Ray’s, In & Out or the countless others that are a staple. Next we would drive to different area such as San Diego, San Francisco, Big Bear and visit all the local bars. I find using Yelp help a lot with making decisions and ideas as well.. Local museums and just getting out in nature such as hiking Malibu Canyon etc

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Golden Memorial gave me the platform to run my business. The leadership they have in the insurance industry is second to none. With the help of Golden Memorial my business has skyrocketed to where it is today.
