We had the good fortune of connecting with Trevaun Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trevaun, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I feel you really cant experience life or anything in general without risk. We get to accustomed to a general circle way of living. if you think about it you wake up nearly every day doing the same routine. So, you start to develop that discouragement of taking risk. You will mentally put yourself down before you can even try to take that baby step. Once you break that cycle of thinking and living you already heading into the right direction. Taking that risk to go against your own norm will allow you to go against society norm. Once you take the risk of telling yourself i am going to try it. is one of the biggest accomplishments you can make. We will always be our own worst enemy. Being a risk taker will lead you to multiple possibilities and away thinking. Risk taking has played a huge role in my life. I finally accomplish dimming that voice in my head telling me ill fail or this isn’t a good idea. The small risk i took buying my camera, going to youtube to learn, and putting myself out there to practice any chance i could. It lead me to achieving a lot of things and building two really good friendships who i owe everything to.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am really excited to keep pushing my creativity. I have a ton of things planed for the future that i am working for and developing for. If i can keep accomplishing what i need to do. the future is beyond bright and it is exciting to think about. It was extremely challenging to get here. When i started i had no one. I got lucky finding the people i did. I self taught myself all from YouTube. I had to tell myself this isn’t a dumb idea and go for it. So, i studied two hours of my day to learning. I was able to follow along very easily before i knew it i was able to do digital art. I want the world to know about me. I believe in ” Always Strive and Prosper”(ASAP).

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since, this is AZ i would have to take them to a Fat Tuesday to get a slushy to cool off. One of my favorite spots to go for a drink. I am a big gamer i would have to take them to all the gaming bars for sure. EndGame will be the hangout spot for sure. I love wings so id have to take them to ATL wings.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have five people who helped me develop and get where i am at. My friends Tony Polanco a entrepreneur, graphic designer and photographer. Eddie Arcilla filmmaker and photographer, Jay Koala a photographer. I owe a lot to these people. When i had no clue what to do i was constantly bugging them. It got to the point i felt like i was annoying them haha. They showed nothing but love and support and answered every question and guided me in the right direction. Next, two of my biggest supporters. I got extremely lucky to know them because without them i wouldn’t have developed the skill i have today. Every random idea i had Daryn and Carissa were always down to model for me without hesitation. I was able to develop every skill i have because of them. I wouldnt have the small success i have without for sure. Having those people in my life allowed me to grow and express my creativity.
