We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Burke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking aka having faith, has played a massive role in my life. I am a firm believer that if God calls me to something, it is not to tease me, but to bring me success. Success can look like an infinite amount of things, not just money.

For example, I was awarded “Sales rep of the Americas” at Intel and felt called to up and go on a year long, 18 county wide, mission trip. My faith in Jesus has been a big part of my life so when I felt called to sell mostly everything I owned, quit my job, pack a bag and go help people around the world… I couldn’t say no.

After that mission trip in the summer of 2019 I knew my business life would never be the same. I was given a new perspective on what is truly important in life. I decided to step into entrepreneurship and MAN has it been a journey.

After my perspective shifted from seeing so many eye opening situations around the world, I no longer looked at things as risky. I pray and if I feel called it, I look at it with bold faith. Faith moves mountains. Faith creates world changers. Faith has allowed me to step into trading currencies and crypto, assisting/ghostwriting for clients to get press from the worlds largest publications like Forbes, getting people verified on socials, and start a coffee business here in Arizona (coming soon 😉)

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Scattered notes below:

I am a Kingdom entrepreneur that focuses solely on impact over income. How can I better someone’s life or situation, is my focus over anything else.

My road has not been easy but has been one of a kind. When people asked me why I was quitting my job at Intel, all I could do was smile and just know God had an awesome plan for my future with so many unforgettable adventures.

I signed a professional football contract in Germany after college. When that fell through and I didn’t go due to injuries, I had a huge identity crisis. I didn’t know what I wanted to do in my life because sports was always my life, 365 days a year. I was so lost. So to see my journey now 10 years later is so fun. Faith is the only way to describe it!

Prayer got me through everything. A relationship with Jesus brings so much peace. Sometimes that is straight from Him, sometimes it comes in the form of people. Networking with others and those “I met you for a reason” moments are not a coincidence. God know what you need and when you need it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I always want to take my friends on beautiful hikes in the area like Camelback mountain. Also I would try to take them cliff diving in Sedona.

I am a huge sports fan so any local games would be on the itinerary.

Golf!

Great coffee at places like SIP and Schmooze

I’m a huge food lover so exploring any and all restaurants is a must. From bigger names like Nobu, Sumo Maya, Toca Modera to amazing street food like Speedys Street Tacos by the airport!

Live music at Kazimierz in old town

A Grand Canyon visit if there’s time!
