We had the good fortune of connecting with Viviana Aguilar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Viviana, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Well Connected AZ discovers talent thru social media, live music events, word of mouth, even in person and shares the music and talent with the city! We interview, share and promote talent but even better ” Arizona Talent”.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well-connected AZ is set apart from other podcast and interviews because we genuinely care about the talent and trying to get the music out to as many people as possible we will sit down and interview artists we will go to shows and we will share the music on our social media platform. Professionally we got to where we are now by building a team of journalist videographers and just people that are really making some noise in the scene that can share artists that are up-and-coming know it was not easy but before Covid going to the events that’s where we knew there was a lot of talent. I would want Phoenix to know that if there’s some thing you care about and you want to share it create that website, start that podcast and do your research. There’s a lot of u discovered musical talent that needs to be heard.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is easy I would take them to any open mics there are always open mics all over the valley we would probably go eating downtown and then go check out venues that have openers performing and just like you know get a real taste of what Phoenix has to offer. Every weekend there’s at least three local artist putting on shows and they are great and the talents amazing so I would definitely take my friends there for sure.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a huge shout out to Respect the Underground. They really care and put on for the hip hop communtiy in Phoenix, and we both share that passion! Ikon Radio is where our interview are recorded and then broadcasted on the Roku Channel RTU Worldwide.
