We had the good fortune of connecting with Zayna Almashouti and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zayna, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Success is living a life true to your spirit. It’s about following your own path, embracing freedom, and continuously discovering new horizons. It’s measured not by societal standards, but by the fulfillment you find in your journey and the strength you gain from each experience. To me, success is about the joy of the journey and the courage to chase your dreams.

What should our readers know about your business?
Highway Girls Official is more than just a brand; it’s a celebration of the adventurous spirit and the pursuit of freedom. What sets us apart is our deep connection to the essence of a Highway Girl—someone who embraces the open road, follows her own path, and continually seeks new horizons. We focus on phone cases, streetwear, and accessories that reflect this spirit, designed for wanderers and dreamers.

I’m most proud of how our brand embodies the values of independence and self-discovery. Getting here hasn’t been easy. The journey has been filled with challenges, from finding the right designs to building a community around our brand. But each challenge was an opportunity to learn and grow. One key lesson I’ve learned is to stay true to our core values and never settle for anything less than our vision.

What I want the world to know about Highway Girls is that it’s not just about fashion—it’s about a lifestyle. It’s about empowering individuals to chase their dreams and live life on their terms. Our story is one of resilience and passion, inspired by strong-minded women who refuse to settle and are always ready for the next adventure.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Arizona, I’d take them to some of my favorite spots. We’d start with a scenic drive along North Bush Highway at sunset, taking in the views of mountains, cacti, and wildlife. A visit to Hole in the Rock for a quick hike and more views. We’d enjoy meals at Postino’s, North Italia, Toca Madera, Cala, and AZ/88. Exploring downtown Phoenix would be a highlight, with its vibrant arts scene and local shops. For a fun night out, we’d head to Cave Creeks Buffalo Chip, for live music and line dancing. This mix of scenes and good eats would make for an unforgettable visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a big shoutout to the strong-minded, hard-working women around me who have inspired the journey of Highway Girls. Most importantly, I want to thank my mom. Watching her, I learned what I wanted—and didn’t want—for my own life. I realized that being a Highway Girl means never settling down until I’ve reached my every goal and maximum potential. My mom has chased her dreams and happiness, along with the incredible women around me, inspiring a business with a meaningful purpose. Thank you all for showing me the way.
