We had the good fortune of connecting with Zherra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zherra, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
The music industry is a really skittish industry. its a “friend of a friend” industry. Promoters and other higher ups don’t like to take risks on musicians or bands they don’t know. That being said musicians do have a history of being flaky, so its understandable.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We’re most proud of sticking together as long as we have and we’re also proud of the opportunities we’ve landed. Getting to this point has taken lots of time and we’re on good terms with every promoter in the valley. That opens a lot of doors for us. We’d say writing and recording is by far the most difficult. As far as lessons learned, we’d say don’t get emotional when things don’t go your way. We want the world to know that we’re on Spotify! All jokes aside people wonder where to find our music. We are all over the internet!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely hit The Nile first. If you want hours of live music, that is where you go. The Crescent Ballroom and Marquee Theatre are both amazing venues as well. If you’re over 21, Fox cigar is one of our spots too. The Yucca Tap Room has an awesome arcade and music as well. If you’re in downtown chandler and know where to look, there’s a super top secret bar/restaurant called “The Ostrich”.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
well as cleche as it sounds, we really do appreciate everyone who takes the time to listen to our music, buy our merch and most of all buy tickets to our live shows. As far as specific shout outs go, we wouldn’t be very far without the band members parents. They’ve made banners, helped with merch and even bought us our first batch of Zherra shirts. We would also like to give Adam Carter with “The Way Back Sessions” a shoutout out. He’s Literally giving his all just for the sake of music!
