My personal belief is that risk is present in everything we do and anywhere we are, even in the simplest things. Looking at it that way helps me to put it into perspective as a smaller thing to be mitigated and dealt with rather than this huge, overwhelming fear that stops me in my tracks. I also trust myself and my resourcefulness and know that there isn’t much I can’t get through. If I don’t know how to do it then I likely know someone who does or I can find the information out or learn what needs to be done so when I look at anything I use that as a barometer to whether or not the risk is worth the reward.
