I have a deep desire to learn – I love learning anything and everything I can, and I think that you’ll never know when information you once thought may be superfluous could come in very handy to have! I recently read a book about how having a vast range of knowledge and interests has benefited some of the brightest minds we know, and it deeply resonated with my personal philosophy on the matter. Life is too short not to take risks. It took me three years to get my first book published, and I definitely wanted to quit from time to time. But my persistent husband he wouldn’t let me. I work hard to maintain a reputation of high integrity as it is honestly becoming a thing of the past in all areas of our culture. It does mean I will, and have, lose out on opportunities because I refuse to compromise my values. It can be frustrating at times to see others seemingly “get ahead” but I know I need to focus on myself. I know my children will see the hard choices made and I can only hope they will grow to be people of integrity, too! Read More>>

The biggest factor behind my success is that I try to give more than I take. I believe in building real community relationships and helping others without expecting anything in return.

I believe in enthusiastic support, cheering on my friends and backing others who are out there chasing big goals. There’s more than enough success to go around, and helping others doesn’t take away from what I’m building. It strengthens relationships and opens doors that staying in my own lane never could.  Read More>>
