Our community is filled with hard-working, high achieving entrepreneurs and creatives and so work-life balance is a complicated, but highly relevant topic. We’ve shared some responses from the community about work life balance and how their views have evolved over time below.

Like many entrepreneurs, when I first started my business, I had no work life balance. I was working around the clock, saying yes to everything, and desperately trying to book any and everyone. Early in my career, there was no balance. I was building. Proving. Grinding. The business came first — always. That lack of balance torpedoed my first marriage and alienated my daughter.
