I truly believed from a very young age I would make it. I remember riding the bus down central avenue in Phoenix knowing that one day I would be living in one of those beautiful historic homes. I believed in myself when I had no one to believe in me and those thoughts of success and achievement have always pushed me to the next level. I don’t recall having thoughts of failure. I would say making the decision to even sign up for esthetics school in the first place was a very big deal to me. I knew going to college wasn’t exactly for me and I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school, so for about 3 years I was a server at a few different restaurants. It was a very fun time in my life and I am grateful for all the people I met and memories I made, but I knew I didn’t want to do it forever. I remember I felt pretty discouraged since I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and it seemed like everyone else already figured it out. My mom is actually the one who first brought up the idea of me going to esthetics school! After brushing the idea off multiple times, I literally woke up one morning and made an appointment at the first school I looked at to go take a tour and then ended up signing up the same day.
