Meet Nathaniel a Keeton | Keeton’s kettle corn

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathaniel a Keeton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nathaniel a, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
To continue to pray and be humble. Enjoy what you do and don’t worry about the money, just have fun

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I run a small kettle corn business out of casa grande Arizona in which I was born and raised. What sets me apart from everyone else is that, I’m not in competition with no one. I’m just putting my head down and going to work and having fun. It’s probably the hardest job I’ve had. You must have patience when running a business because things don’t always go right and you can lose control do to the fact that you have to pay attention to the small details, like, keeping up with inventory. Making sure your customer is happy. Scheduling and timing. Also prepping for different events. I overcame them by praying everyday and trying to figure it out on the fly. The lesson I learned was to be patient. I want to world to know that I come from a small community in casa grande Arizona where the people are great and loving and that we are a close nit community. We are building day by day and the work never stops. Be looking out for this kettle corn for generations to come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I definitely would take them to little sombreros to get some good old Nana’s cooking and then I would take them to pirates to get some good fish and shrimp with oysters. I would take them to our local tavern and have a few beers and have them alot of genuine people I grew up with .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Most definitely!!
I wanna give a shout-out to my father. ( Rest his soul). It’s been a long journey since year 2018. I didn’t have a clue how I would pick up the pieces and continue his legacy. (Our family legacy). Two weeks after his passing I put all the puzzles on the table and connected them all together, one day at a time. I figured out all my resources and went from there. I dove in head first.
