How do you define success?

TV, Movies, and culture in general sometimes paints a narrow, specific image of what success is, but we know from our conversations with some of the best and brightest that success can mean vastly different things to different people.

Success in podcasting can be measured in a variety of ways. The volume of listeners, subscribers, and income generated from sponsorships are obviously barometers for success, but I define our success by talking to some of the funniest people on Earth and hearing them laugh when on our show. We have the unique pleasure of getting to speak with some of our favorite actors and comedians, and when we get to collaborate on content with the primary goal to make one other laugh… it’s more impactful than statistical milestones. I would define success as that ah ha moment, when you realize your passion has become your life. Being able to do what you love every day and seeing others enjoy what you have created. It’s so fulfilling. That’s when you know you achieved real success. Read more>>

Success isn’t about meeting societal benchmarks or collecting accolades. It’s about daring to take risks, exploring new paths, and finding joy in the process, regardless of the outcome. Success is personal—it’s about aligning your actions with your values, doing what lights you up, and being true to yourself. External achievements like wealth or status do not measure it. It is the internal fulfillment you feel. To me, success means learning from every experience, uplifting others, and making a meaningful contribution. This is a very interesting question. If you are talking about financial success, I would say when the profits are at least 5 times what the cost of supplies were. Since I have already purchased my tools and equipment, I never really factor them in. Since I really love what I am doing, I don’t care if the labor involved is 2 hours or 2 days to complete the project. Read more>>
