Meet Adrian Campbell | Transformational Coach & Holistic Wellness Educator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrian, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The single most important decision I made that continues to contribute to my success is furthering my education. I completed my Master’s degree in 2017 and my Doctorate in 2021, and have continued to do research, present at conferences, and publish in the different areas related to my work. Working with people is such a fluid and dynamic field, new ideas and thoughts are being presented constantly. I can’t stress enough how important it is to continue to expand your knowledge base. The more we know, the more we can help each other create lives that are richer and more fulfilling, which directly contributes to a healthier and happier existence for everyone. At the end of the day I think that is really what we’re all here for, to help each other.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I got into business to help people, simple as that. I had a challenging childhood, dropped out of high school, and joined the military at 19. I know what it’s like to feel a little lost, to struggle mentally and emotionally, to go through tough times, and if there is anything I have learned, time and time again, it’s how amazingly resilient people can be if they are given the opportunity.
My journey into the work I am doing now started with illness. I was working 12-hour days, 6 days a week, and I was burnt out. Western medicine turned its back on me, so I looked towards the East. I found yoga, meditation, and reiki energy healing, and it not only changed my life, but I truly believed it saved my life. It didn’t take long to decide that this was a gift I wanted to share with others, so I went back to school studying Jungian Psychology with an emphasis in Somatics, became certified as Reiki Master and Professional Coach, and in 2014 I opened up my private practice.
Over the years the work I do has shifted as I learned more about the human experience. What began as primarily energy healing sessions has become more holistically focused sessions that combine coaching, mentoring, dream analysis, somatic mindfulness and energy work. I love that I am able to help my clients by holding space, creating clarity, and raising their self-awareness in a way that truly empowers them to create a life that supports the very best version of themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I currently live in Pine, Arizona and am just in love with the local area. We sit at just under 6k feet, are surrounded by beautiful spruce and pine trees, provide a home to hawks and hummingbirds alike, and have Elk visit daily. Downtown Pine is full of unique shops, cute places to eat, and is a great base for anyone looking to get away for a bit, whether to relax or explore. There are so many amazing hiking trails, but I would have to say the one thing you can’t miss is Tonto Natural Bridge State Park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to Veterans Yoga Project! Throughout grad school I was fortunate to work with this amazing organization to help enhance their program offerings and share their amazing work with the world. Veterans Yoga Project (VeteransYogaProject.org) is a grassroots educational and outreach organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of military veterans through providing access to a full range of mind-body practices to facilitate recovery and resilience. The work they do has changed the world of trauma recovery and saved the lives of countless veterans. Working with them really eased my transition away from a toxic corporate culture into one where the leadership not only listens, but really, truly cares for their team members. I am forever grateful for their inspiration, guidance, and friendship.
