We had the good fortune of connecting with Alba Trevino & Anel Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alba Trevino & Anel Hernandez, how does your business help the community?
By showcasing the diversity in our community. Which will influence the way we see one another, and the beauty behind all lenses.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our story began about ten years ago and just two friends who wanted a dream to come true. So we embarked the journey of starting our own business, we faced many challenges, from the moment we entered the work field, we were faced with bias and discrimination. That at times would be discouraging. But we wanted to create a space, where everyone could feel safe, comfortable and beautiful. We didn’t let anything tear us down.

Our studio is a one of a kind blank canvas for you to make your own. We will have three rooms for rent the “romancé room”, this rooms is for all the romantics, engagement pictures, wedding pictures, boudoir etc. Our “moon room” is an all grey room for you to express your creativity, and the one we are specially excited about is our “sand room”. A Mediterranean style room that is full of sand to take those perfect instagram photos. Lastly we will have a bonus common are for all to use. The whole studio is just a vibe and we’re so excited to share it with the community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The best time ever in Phoenix, AZ includes a beautiful sunset hike at Camelback mountain. A view you will come back for guaranteed. Then we would take you for some sushi at Harumi sushi bar. The next morning we would go to Butters because it’s a traditional delicious breakfast we can’t pass out on. We can’t forget about fashion square to do a little shopping. The next day get some coffee and breakfast at Deseo Coffee Shop and spend the day at the Desert botanical garden. The next day we would go to Théa for delicious food and drinks. To finish off the night we will head to Tempe Marketplace-Dave and Busters for their Havana nights, a night of salsa dancing and margaritas. Lastly a beautiful hike at Piestawa Peak and off to the Apache trail arriving to goldfield ghost town. For our last day we will have a relaxing day at the Phoenician-were we will brunch and pool lounge.
