Meet Alli ReauVeau | Artist and CBD Educator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alli ReauVeau and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alli, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Skoolie Lifestyle is our “passion-business” for our legacy years. We took all the things we love, travel, golf, health, boho art, and thrifted treasures. We put them into a 40ft bus (skoolie) to supplement our income at festivals and events. The rest of our lives will be about connecting with others, working smart and living tiny.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
At our age, we have achieved what we have achieved. We are not interested in society’s goals. We are interested in the time we have left on the planet and who we’d like to spend that time with.
We designed Skoolie Lifestyle to embrace our whole family’s talents, should they ever join us. Instead of pursuing financial gain, we decided to see if we could build something each of our 6 kids and all our grandkids could do with us. We can turn this business into more than CBD and art sales. We could do events, retreats, golf tournaments, and tons of outdoor boondocking events. Loving nature while we still have access to it. We plan to travel to see our kids. We realized they are simply too busy to see us. So we are traveling to each from Puyallup WA to our home state Arizona.
So how are we going to make money?
Alan is an avid golfer & cigar conisureur. Alan will golf the golf courses along the way introducing our line of CBD products.
Alli is an artist, she will have a pop-up store in the bus filled with her art, thrift store finds and the art from other nomads she encounters along the way. Supporting other nomads by creating consistent income from sales is the cornerstone of the boho bus boutique. Alli has an exceptional eye for fine art, jewelry, and craft items. Offering others the opportunity to support themselves with their talent is not only nice to have it is why we chose to leave “sticks &. bricks” for nomadic life.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well after Covid, we really have lost so many of our favorite places are now gone. We will be discovering new places along our route. We are most excited to discover the nomad hot spots like Quartzite AZ. We went to our first SkooliePalooza in Erenburg AZ in 2022, which changed our life. The winter months are snowbird heaven in AZ. And the nomads are no different. The desert is full of BLM land to camp on. The nomad lifestyle is so well embedded in southern Arizona that it will take us years to discover it all. Next would be Bisbee AZ, they have a tiny village I’d like to see.
With resources becoming so expensive we believe the nomad life is going to appeal to more and more people. I’d like to see the nomads organize just enough to ensure their access to the land we love.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to thank Bob Sharits @morningdewskoolie he has completed 99% of our skoolie build. He is an exceptional craftsman and friend. Shout out to Virginia McGhee @thebusyzenbus she graciously guided us to Show Low AZ and has been a second builder, artist and friend.
