We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Ibarra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My youngest son and boyfriend. Their love for pickles and cheese is an understatement. So I tried making both since I love to create anything that has to do with food.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have 2 parts to my business. I have the pickling side and the charcuterie side. I’ve always wanted to do something with food. When COVID happen I was tired of doing the same thing at home so I decided to actually take a chance since I had so much time on my hands. The thing that sets my business apart from others is I make everything fresh. Specifically the pickling side. I knew I wanted something fresh and nothing added except fresh ingredients and love.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love payson and Sedona. Perfect weather in either place. My favorite place to eat is a place just outside of payson in pine called Old County Inn. Best pizza and beer!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This is dedicated to my aunt Vicki. My business is named after her. She was my biggest supporter in life.
