We had the good fortune of connecting with Bailey Dumpprope and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bailey, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My intent with Rooted Remembrance is much bigger than me. I think its important to acknowledge that sometimes its not about how many people you reach but how big of an impact you leave on each of those you do. Don’t be mistaken though my goal still always has been to reach as many as possible, but making sure it reaches them in a meaningful way that can cause this ripple affect of social impact. It begins with us. our connection to ourselves, our connections to the earth. Than we take that connection and we use this creative energy we receive being in union with ourselves and let it flourish within our connection with others. As we allow our differences to come together understanding that we all play unique roles that stretch beyond us we begin creating more community. With powerful, present, and aware communities SHIFT begins to happen. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” With Rooted Remembrance my first goal is to always connect individuals back to the truth that they do indeed have the power to heal themselves. I want to empower them to take their health into their own hands while using the many gifts of the earth. Once individuals understand that by harmonizing with these plants, deepening the awareness of what you consume in all realms, listening, and working with your bodies intelligence that you CAN heal than it begins to feel like there is nothing you cant do. If I told you there is so much unlocked potential within you wouldn’t you want to learn more? There can be a tendency to want to know more about yourself, but not as much of a desire to take the actions towards feeling those truths. It all starts within the loving actions of understanding you are so much more. As we utilize the earths healing gifts and start to reconnect with this distant connection with the natural world I believe this is the moment a lot of dis-ease starts to diminish. Not just within ourselves, but with the whole world. “Sustain those who sustain you, and the earth will last forever.” As this connection is rekindled with the natural world the understanding that everything in life is an exchange becomes more apparent. We are able to make a space & create a world of more gratitude & more change.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is founded on my passion to help others, rekindle our connection with the earth, and demystify the healing powers of the natural world. Getting to where I am with my business quite literally took me losing it all. I had to find myself in some of the lowest times, give up on allopathic medicine to help me, strip away many layers of my ego, and get drawn back to that of which I was always meant to do. It took a lot of surrendering. I went from one day having no idea what I wanted to do in my life to a week later arranging plans to pick up my life in Oregon to move to a sate I had never been in a couple months to attend a school to pursue a path I really didn’t know anything about. Though I had a calling. I couldn’t tell you exactly what brought me to the truth I was meant to do this, but in that moment and the years to follow to now I have never had to question it. Though I never doubted what I was meant to do, the steps in taking that and turning it into a business was not as easy. When starting up your own business it can be easy to get caught up in the end goal dream, not realizing how much work and dedication it really takes. You have to learn and adjust every single day. Though when the passion stays ignited through it all even those challenges you continually face can’t stop you. I am still learning so much, but the advice I can give is simply don’t give up. It will be easy to fall back into the comfort of just working for someone else, but the world needs what you have to offer! I also want to say its okay to ask for help! I believe we fall into this mindset as entrepreneurs that we need to do it all ourselves, but its okay to lean on your community and explore advice from others. Getting stuck in our own perspective can only slow us down in the end. I am so excited for all that is coming for Rooted Remembrance. If you have interest in healing yourself and loved ones with herbal products & WHOLEistic modalities, taking courses to deepen your knowledge, exploring the power of the plants in your own community, Joining plant medicine workshops & retreats, and so much more stay tuned!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Its definitely to simple to just shout out my friends, family, and teachers. Though their support and love has lead me here and I want to thank them for all they have done and their continual support in my passions. My clients and those who come to me for answers I really want to shout out. These are the people that keep inspiring me on this path. They all teach me something every interaction and make me come back to that understanding of what the purpose of my business and my place within in it all is. I also can not go without shouting out the very thing I am a vessel for, the plants! The relationship I develop with each plant before communicating the understanding forward to help others is crucial. They continue to support me and my healing so I can supports others and their healing.
