We had the good fortune of connecting with AllWhiteBrix and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi AllWhiteBrix, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
When I was younger I once heard a quote by Mark Twain that said something like “Find a job you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” I’ve had many jobs throughout my life and not one of those jobs felt worth waking up for in the mornings. I realized I was working for the money rather than for myself and my happiness. I felt as if I knew there was something else I should be doing but I was not yet doing it. I’ve been passionate about music since I was a kid. So when I grew up and realized I’d be working for the rest of my life I knew I had to turn my love for music into a career so I would never have to work a day in my life. I chose to pursue an artistic/creative career because I would rather work for myself then someone else.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
For those that don’t know I am officially on all major streaming platforms! Most of my music can still be found on SoundCloud at Soundcloud.com/AllWhiteBrix but we are working on slowly transitioning everything else over. This year I am really hoping to release my first official music video on YouTube by the end of 2021. Stay Tuned!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arizona has some great spots for fun especially when it comes to food and drinks! I would recommend trying places like Cheba hut, Millie’s café, pub n grub, and Rustler’s Rooste. I would defiantly have them check out Mill Ave and downtown phoenix.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well First off I want to shout out and Thank you guys for reaching out to me, I appreciate it. There are many people I would like to shout out and Thank for helping me get to where I am today. I defiantly could have not done this on my own. I’d like to shout out my family for raising me. I would like to shout out to my friends who are always down to hear new music and give support and feedback on my songs. Shout out to uchoiceradio for playing any new release I drop. Shout out to Respect The Underground for putting me as “Artist of the week”. Shout out to Futuristic for letting me be a extra in a couple of his music videos. Shout out to the people who do my cover art and edits for my Socials media. Shout out to all the venues that I performed at. Shout out to everyone who plays my music and supports my vision.
