We had the good fortune of connecting with Chantelle Fulce and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chantelle, what’s the most important think you’ve done for your children?
Being a parent and a wife, I believe the most important thing I’ve done that has impacted my family is showing my family the role of building a legacy as an entrepreneur. I have learned that in order to build a legacy, it will come with challenges, wins and some moments of stillness. This journey is rewarding, and I know that when I am creating art with my family by my side, they can see the hard work and love I pour into my this business. The seeds that are planted and tended to now, will harvest a bountiful garden. This is what I imagine my legacy building to be.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started my art journey in 2018 as an acrylic pour artist. I just happen to be scrolling along on social media and saw an art piece that captivated me, and I thought to myself “I would love to learn how to do that!” and so I did. I started off with doing acrylic pours using soap and water because I did not know any better lol but now, after much trial and error, high response from the community, I researched and learned my way in the art game. It was definitely easy to learn, as I caught on very quickly. However, I honestly did not start the art journey as an Entrepreneur, since I enjoyed it mainly as a hobby until I sold my first painting. One big lesson that I learned along the way, was learning how to be more consistent and believe in myself. My art style is very common and saturated in the art market, and I had to retrain my mind and believe that I am unique and people will buy my art because my energy is who I attract. My tribe. If there is anything, I could tell someone else aiming to pursue their dream as an artist in all areas, or even in their personal life, believe in yourself, stay true to you even when it seems everyone around you is doing the same thing and rock it! Your consistency and confidence will cause you to soar. Chantelle Fulce Art strives to create on a consistent basis. I hope to inspire others to live our their dreams.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite things to do and places to eat would be to the dine in theatre, Snooze AM Eatery, going to the lake, and really anything involving good food, good coffee, and anything with a good scene. I love being around anything with color, art, good food, and anything with live music.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my ShoutOut to God, who has brought me through many life challenges, my husband Ronell and all of my family, friends and the community that has supported me. Without your support, there is no me.
