We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Bryant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christian, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well, let’s see here. My thought process behind starting 52 Productions. Well, to put it bluntly, I didn’t really have much of a thought process to it at the time. I started 52 Productions back in high school during the early or mid of 2018. At that time, I was just planning on being a freelance editor for content creators online. At that time, I wasn’t even thinking of the potential that this dream of a production company has started to become. Now, I can say that my thought process was logical, I had a plan from the start because I’ve had time to actually think about it over the years and develop the current path that this company as a whole has concurred. But, at the start of the journey, at the beginning of this adventure. The idea of 52 Productions began from a teenager trying to sound professional to others(content creators) in the hopes of gaining attention as a freelance video editor. It’s a pure miracle from God, that something with no thought behind it, has begun to bare fruit

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work? My work in the film industry has been, chaotic, to say the least. I’ve been doing a lot of different styles and moods. It’s something dumb and nonsensical, to something dramatic and real. From a sociopathic cannibal, to a guy dancing in a room after a breakup. Yes, range that just doesn’t sound logical in any sense of the word. But, this does sound a whole lot like other filmmakers at the beginning of their careers. So, what sets me apart from them? Maybe it’s my height, maybe it’s my stupidity, or maybe it’s the fact that I don’t way the rules quite as well as they do? See, now that everyone is making something that has meaning to them or has a message that you go home thinking to yourself at night as you try to fall asleep, I don’t do that. My films have little to no meaning or messages that I want to convey at the end. I am just here to entertain you in whatever way I can. I like to put viewers first before any hidden messaging or way to change your mind into thinking or believing something else. I like to call it, feelings before meaning, effect before cause. Now, this form of filmmaking makes me very proud and excited because, it’s both, basic and nonbiased. It’s as close to original and far from it at once. It’s this filmmaking that I found my way to where I am today, at least, professionally. It was never easy because, life has never meant to be easy. Life finds a way to throw a wrench into the mix. For example, growing up in the almost middle of nowhere Arizona, things were always limited. Life is what you make of it but, if you don’t have much to work with, life becomes dull. You may have free range but, with no barriers to stop yourself so you may overcome, you start to question the very nature of life.

Questioning the prepose of it when there’s nothing to fight. Nothing to earn. Nothing to break besides yourself. The nature of life begins to become the challenge you yearn for. Having the means to survive isn’t always living. It has been here where I’ve learned. The means to survive and the means to live. The difference between life on the Rez and life in the city. The difference between anger and obsession. These lessons prepared me better off for failure because, I would always be prepared for it. When I succeed, I can’t celebrate because, it’s not in my nature to see the good things first. These lessons aimed me to find the faults, to find the mistakes, to find myself. Lessons aren’t always good. Lessons aren’t always meant to teach you.

Lessons are meant to change you. For better, or for worse. What I want the world to know about me is nothing, but my brand, never quit. Rock bottom may have a basement but, you are only visiting, you’re not staying. When life knocks you down, take a nap, so when you get back up, you’ll have the energy to knock it back. Life is meant to be lived like a roller coaster. You determine how the ride goes.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Now seeing that my best friends lives in the area, I can’t really say where to go. I don’t really spend much time going around town and picking the best places or calling a spot in the city my favorite. I just know, wherever I go with them, I’m in my favorite place. I’m in for some fun. I’m more of myself than I’ve been in years. They are my favorite spots because they bring out my favorite spots of myself back into the world. I don’t have a need to hide behind a mask or persona when they are near. Also, Pho Chandler is a good place too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Who do I get to shoutout here? That is a tough one because, I’m am a product of everyone and everything that has entered my life. There is just, way to many people and things to even begin to decide who or what gets a shoutout. I am nothing without each and every single one of them. From my family to my friends in school to even the random strangers that I bump into on the streets. But, if I am to shoutout only one person / thing, I will have to stay to my roots and say thank you to God.

Yeah! Another person shouting out God in their life, how original. Well, nothing is ever original. We have gone so far in life to an authentic, original idea in life. But yet, God is always finding something original in every day to day life that we take for granted.

Originality is as easy to him as breathing is to us. How am I not able to give him the praise and worship if I can’t give him a shoutout at every opportunity? Who is more worthy of getting a shoutout besides He who created us? So yeah, my shoutout goes to God because, he has the biggest influence on me out of anyone else and anything else in my life.
