We had the good fortune of connecting with Colton & Jordan Frabasilio aka… Pres Pool Brothers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Colton & Jordan Frabasilio, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
The Swimming Pool Industry nationally is busier than ever during the current Covid-19 Pandemic. During the month of May, 2020 “Pools” were the 3rd most Google searched commodity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The request for this interview comes at a time none of us expected going into 2020. Covid-19 has created chaos, fear and uncertainty as we all try to figure out our own “new normal.” People are staying home more, their kids are home, many are looking for some tranquility and relaxation within their own backyard. Thankfully, Pres Pool Brothers may have a solution! The Swimming Pool business remains an “essential” business in AZ. We are very grateful to have been able to continue our success during a time when so many are struggling. It has always been our goal to design pools that we can be proud of. Reflecting on the current conditions we are all facing, it gives us a sense of pride to know that just maybe we can make a small difference by creating a little oasis in someone’s backyard. When our clients love their pool, we hope they have a space where they can enjoy family, de-stress and really appreciate the place they call home.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
During “normal” times, the first place that comes to mind is Old Town, Scottsdale. This area is so dynamic, filled with tons of great restaurants and hotels. We would also recommend a destination where we have spent a good amount of time since childhood. Pinetop, Arizona is about a 3+ hour drive from Phoenix and is a great place to escape the AZ summer heat. Some of our favorite restaurants include The Lion’s Den, Charlie Clarks and El Patron just to mention a few. Pinetop is also a great place to hike, golf or just relax while “social distancing” at the same time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Hard work and dedication are key, but there are definitely other life experiences and people that have been very instrumental in our story and road to success. Our drive and work ethic started at a very early age with the game of baseball. This sport taught us the value of team work and how to fail over and over again. Equally important, it also taught us the ability to learn from our mistakes and how to keep working to achieve goals. Obviously, we can not name every teammate and coach that we were blessed to play with/for. We can honestly say though, that countless players and coaches alike have played an important role in shaping who we are today both personally and professionally. From tee-ball, club ball, high school, college and finally minor league baseball, we appreciate the friendships, lessons, and mentoring that in many cases, still continue to this day! We would also like to thank our parents for the ongoing support from day one, forever encouraging us to aim high and enjoy life at the same time. Last but not least, a shout out to our team at Presidential Pools & Spas. We realize that learning and growing in business is ongoing and we are grateful for the knowledge and wisdom many of our co-workers have shared over the last few years.
