We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica V. Walton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erica V., is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Everything I am seeking is seeking me. It helps me tremendously, daily. When I’m worried about the outcome of a project or how a goal will manifest, it reminds that anything intended for me won’t pass me by..
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started out in the non profit sector about 10 years ago. I wanted to make an impact on the youth of my city. While hosting brunches and camps for the girls, I’d share my stories on childhood trauma. That lead to me writing books about my mental wellness journey. Eventually those books turned into wellness coaching and woman’s retreats. The biggest challenge is leaving behind comfort for what you desire. You never know if you’ll receive the same grace once something changes. I say do it anyway even if you’re afraid.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I loved driving over to the red rocks, hiking and sitting under the stars. Phoenix is breathtaking at night. It’s almost as you can touch the stars. There’s plenty to do during the day from shopping to enjoying lunch at the Culinary DropOut.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My women’s guided self help group is due a huge shout out. Those women support me endlessly. Truly grateful for their trust, openness and integrity.
