We had the good fortune of connecting with Myeshia Washington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

My name is Myeshia Washington and I am the owner of Peach 44 LLC, doing business as Peach 44 Creations. I launched my company in February of 2021. I specialize in THC infused desserts.

I am not your typical edible baker. My specialties include infused peach cobbler, pound cakes, cheesecakes and so much more. My mission is to educate those suffering from chronic pain, PTSD, wasting disease, depression, and anxiety on the benefits of THC. An edible has always been frowned upon as something stoners eat. It is my mission to advocate for the medical usage of the plant in a discreet and enjoyable way.

This is not an easy journey to embark on as a single African American new business owner, but my faith carries me a long way. I have learned many lessons as a new business owner in this industry. I have taken financial losses, wasted products based on cancellations and the list goes on. With every lesson, I have improved and set guidelines to continue to succeed.

My company’s brand and image solely rests on my shoulders and my ability to achieve desired results. With growth, continued education and determination, I strive to be a advocate for those who want to use THC instead of popping pills. Let me change your mind!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Coming from Detroit Michigan to Chandler Arizona has been a eye opening experience. To experience the best of Arizona, I would start with a trip to Grand Canyon. This day trip will show you the beauty of nature and give you a chance to sight see on the way.

For the city exploration, I would suggest eating at local restaurants such as LoLo’s, VooDoo Daddys and let’s not forget the Mexican flare of Serranos.

Take a walk down Mill street and enjoy the music coming from the multiple bars. The stroll ends at Tempe Town Lake. Relax and watch the lake in all its calming beauty..

One stop entertainment would be Tempe Marketplace. Let’s catch a movie at the Harkins, shopping throughout the complex. Have a drink and dinner at the Ghenghis Grill where we create our own stir fry bowl.

To relax, take a hike up South Mountain and enjoy a cup of coffee after. Let’s not forget shopping at the Arizona Mills shopping mall.

The east valley of Arizona has so much to offer, we would need a day or two to relax after.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out Sladjana Ahmetovic of Pretty Dope Paintings in Mesa. Not only did she give me my very first opportunity to showcase my edibles, I have been a vendor for her Puff and Paint classes ever since. As she grew as a business owner, she gave me the opportunity to as well. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some amazing entrepreneurs and also sell my products. She promotes and supports me as a business owner. Our collaboration has been ongoing for the last year. Sladjana is the owner of a mobile arts studio and hosts a monthly guided class. Not only do a have the opportunity to network, I have also had the chance to work on some art skills!
