We had the good fortune of connecting with Eulecia Hudson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eulecia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting your own business is the American dream. It takes dedication, persistence, support and commitment. You need to research the market, study other companies that are similar and learn from their mistakes and successes. Most importantly create a plan and be willing to pivot if needed.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I come from very humble beginnings. My parents taught us early on to have integrity in everything that you do and to give back to the community as much as possible. I started my business in order to bring smiles and happiness to everyone that I touch with my yard cards setups. My yard cards are big and beautiful. I offer different tiers in order to make it affordable to everyone. My business is new and its really hard to get it off the ground and marketed to everyone. I’m still learning each and every day.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have friend and family members visits all the time. We love to eat at different restaurants such as Houston’s, Hill stone, Ocean Club and, a great burger joint. I would take a ride to Sedona to let them see the lovely views and have a serene moment. Shopping and visiting a nice spa is great pass time as well. We recently visit I Fly, that was fun and exciting.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shout out goes to anyone that has supported me with my business. Being a small black own business can sometimes be very challenging.
