We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Meluch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah, what do you attribute your success to?
The single most important factor behind the success of my business is my connection with my clients. No client is simply a client, they are immediately friends. When a client invests in photography from me, I invest myself in getting to know my clients. We cheer each other on in our successes in our business and personal lives, chat about vacations, and always bond over Mom life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I provide the beloved light and airy look, but with a pop of color! Wanting to stay true to colors and my client’s style, I strive for a clean and crisp look in my images. I provide a Style Guide for all of my portrait clients to help them in their outfit-picking-process to make the entire photo session that much more enjoyable and stress-free! I love making new friends (clients) and capturing these moments and seasons in their lives. I’ve been taking photos since 2018 and could not have imagined then, where I am now. My clients are the best, I’ve had amazing support from family, friends, and fellow photographers (both local and nationwide) and cannot wait to see what the future holds for Hannah Meluch Photography!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We moved to Phoenix six years ago this December and love it here! When we’ve had family/friends come to visit we always make these stops to show off our “new” home. Our favorite dinner stop at Culinary Dropout – The Yard in Tempe, walking around the Farmers Market Downtown Gilbert, the Goldfield Ghost Town by Superstition Mountains, Hole in the Rock at Papago Park/ the Zoo, and if we have time a quick day trip to Sedona (with a must stop at Hideaway Cafe)!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people I’d like to thank individually, but for starters, my husband. From day one he’s been my biggest supporter for this business! All of my family and friends! And of course my clients (spoiler alert- I have the best in the Valley!!)! Super shoutout to Jen Soltis of Tiny TeepeeZzz for recommending me for this piece and all of the local photographers who encourage and inspire me – this community is everything!
