We had the good fortune of connecting with Hayden LeMaster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hayden, what do you attribute your success to?
Networking. Making connections. We live in a world today that, with the internet, is more interconnected than ever.

It’s so important to network with clients and industry partners, to find people and organizations that can benefit most from your specific offerings and vice versa; and with design and marketing services that aren’t tied to one specific region, it’s been great to be able to connect with clients and business partners across the country.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We really strive to provide an all-in-one service for clients. I started out as just a designer, but have grown into a lot of services that are design-centered or benefit from having quality design work implemented.

Web design has become one of our main offerings, and we now offer full website design, domains, hosting, site maintenance, et cetera. And our state-shaped stickers have become our most popular product (you can see more info on these at LeMasterGraphics.com/Stickers) – we’ve created these branded state-shape stickers for businesses and organizations across the country and they’ve been wildly popular.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh man, I could go on all day about this. A few of my favorite spots in Bellingham, WA:

– Whatcom Falls Park
– Boulevard Park (the large waterfront park in Bellingham)
– DownTime Taps (taphouse)
– Elizabeth Station (bar and bottle shop)
– Old World Deli (restaurant)
– The Redlight (bar)
– Bellingham Bells (minor league baseball team)

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout is going to a comedian, actually! I reached out to Steve Hofstetter in early 2017, was a big fan of his comedy and reached out with some marketing/promo ideas for a new tour structure he was trying out.

Since then, he’s become a major client of mine; I’ve been fortunate to be able to work on his tours, his virtual comedy club, and his arts nonprofit in Pittsburgh. The guy is a total entrepreneur in addition to being a comedian, and I’ve learned a lot from him over these past few years.
