We had the good fortune of connecting with Hollywood Tae and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hollywood Tae, what is the most important factor behind your success?
With my profession you definitely have to have talent but also dedication and hard work..It’s been times when I didn’t even wanna make any beats but I was addicted to getting better…That’s what really drove me to be successful
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m A rising Music Producer from South Phoenix AZ… I’ve Been producing music since I was 13 years old… I discovered a program called fruity loops at the age of 17.I remember coming home every day from high school making 10 beats a day. My mom used to always get mad because she had to come home from work and hear bass shaking the house. As I got better I started releasing Beat mixtapes names Legacy on SoundCloud ..I was able to put out 4 in four years.Over the years I continued to work hard then I finally got my break out song I produced..it was Billionaire Black – BeniHibachi.. the song has reached 4 million views on YouTube..and has since changed my life…but with a number like that comes a lot of business that I can honestly say I wasn’t prepared for… certain situations taught me loyalty can be more important then money sometimes… loyalty can create more business opportunities but it’s important to always know who too be loyal to. I feel like I could become a legend in my city and that’s what drives me everyday.. where I come from we don’t have a lot of music success
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely going to Penz up recording studio.. Most of my friend are addicted to recording music and it never gets old…
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My brother Lavin he’s always put me In A position to meet people that could help my career..He’s always supported my music and believed in me from day one
