We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeanette Wagner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeanette, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks is something I’ve done my entire life! I left my country of birth at 18 (by myself) because I had a dream and I’ve lived in 4 different countries since then. I think, to take risks, you have to have a strong belief in yourself and what you’re wanting to achieve. I’ve always wanted to make a difference and I think I always knew that I had something to offer. And that I think is the driver to taking risks!!! You have to be willing to fail and not make it mean anything & keep going!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Lifecoach & NLP practitioner. I work with committed and determined people who wants change !! I believe in every single client of mine and there is nothing more satisfying than when they have their breakthroughs and then go on and break their ceilings!!! What sets me apart is the fact that I am multicultural. I come from a very mixed background and have lived in many different countries since birth and I feel that gives me a unique advantage of understanding a very diverse clientele. When I came to the US, now almost 4 years ago, I had to start my life over. From scratch. I had to Figure out who I was all over again. And to save me from going into a deep depression , I decided to use my mental struggles as inspiration to start my coaching business. And so I started to put some concepts together to create some workshops. Looking back, they were terrible, lol… but I threw myself in it and out there.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First of all, I would absolutely take them hiking in these beautiful mountains we got here. Then I’d take them to Henry’s in Camelback for some lunch. Then I’d take them for pre dinner drinks at Scottsdale quarter and dinner at Harumi, downtown Phoenix. Omg that sushi is amazing there. I love Sedona and love the healing energy there, I would have to take them up there to experience the power of that place. I’m still learning Arizona, and still consider myself new to AZ. Hmmm, maybe a little topgolf..
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband gets the biggest shoutout for the support , belief and love he shows me daily! It’s unreal and I’m grateful everyday! Then there’s the support Dr. Dani & Lynsi @Breathechiropractic in phoenix shows me. TheLifecoachschool is the organization that has helped me to manage my thoughts to get a different & better result and just be better at coaching!!🙌🏾
