Meet Kandase Eatmon: Owner of Nanr

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kandase Eatmon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kandase, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process was DO IT! When courting with my now husband, one for the first things he asked me was what do you want to do in life? what type of business do you see yourself having? I was at a loss for words because at the time I couldn’t see past working a 9-5 job. After marrying, quitting my job of 8 years and being a homemaker for 2 years, one night in bed my husband asked me if I would be able to take $10 and bring back $100 by then end of the week…I said of course!! He then proceeded to ask me how? Without thinking twice I said, I would bake something and sale it! That was it, that night Nanr was created! It took a week to bring Nanr to life and my husband asked me are you ready to launch? I said Lets DO IT!!!

What should our readers know about your business?
Nanr is your cravings best friend! We provide snack cups suited to fulfill all of your sweet cravings! What sets Nanrs snacks apart from other snack options is that each flavor is topped off with “mamas homemade whipp” and we hand deliver our snacks to your door!! All the Nanr flavors are crafted and put together in such a way that when you eat it, it will have you feeling like a kid again!! As a new business we are excited about this upcoming year where we plan to expand our flavor options and think outside the box! With Nanr being a new business there are still things we are constantly changing and figuring out what works and what doesnt! The great thing about being new is that we are in the building stages and each day we continue to grow and are able to expand on what Nanr has to offer!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really enjoy being home and having guest over! I am a master at hosting! A week here in AZ would consist of BBQs in the backyard and swimming if its summertime! In the winter time a nice homemade dinner with a bonfire outside for s’mores! My family loves being outside so we might even take them to a park or go fishing! To end the week I would of course invite them to my home church, Stonepoint Community Church!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My God,of course! He led me to my home church, Stonepoint Community Church where i met my spiritual parents, Pastor Gene & Pastor Shana Herndon! If I would have never gone to this church and sat under the teaching and guidance of my pastors, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My pastors have taught me so much and with the help of God have literally molded me to be who I am today!
