We had the good fortune of connecting with Kofi Dotse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kofi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Over the years in my career life, I would say the most important factor behind my success as a creator and strategist has been my personality and my passion for the job.

working with brands/clients always goes beyond the money bit but the zeal to build something and to leave a mark that speaks for itself. I have an excellent track record and that has been as a result of my value drive as well as my passionate personality.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other is the sense of professionalism I attach to my job. My personal brand has evolved over the years as a Social Media Pro. I bring onboard experience from different niches and industries and that make my work stand out. It wasn’t easy coming from a science background with no mentors to look up to, but I developed thick skin as a result of my desire to grow.

Lessons I’ve learnt along the journey are, always speak out your concerns, be proactive come out of your shell and get to meet people. Networking and socialization is the key to stand out in the creative industry.

I want everyone to know that, I’m the best version of myself and I’m the best person to ever come across both inside out.

Majority of testimonials say I’m the best person to rely on or work with.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to fun things to do, I hardly have a favourite. Currently, I go to places that have a sense of community.

I’d recommend hanging out at Palm Moments Restaurant, Jamestown Coffee House for a good meal, A day trip to Asenema Waterfalls or learn how to make batik.

I always tell people the most fun things to do are the things you hardly find in the city. Visit Busua Beach or Keta Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
