We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristen Noelle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristen, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Joining the U.S. Peace Corps in 2013 was probably the single most important decision I made that contributed to the success I have today. I feel like most people view success as the amount of schooling one has gone through, or the amount of followers one has on social media, the amount of money one has in their bank account or even in their investments, or even who their alma mater is. For me, joining the Peace Corps allowed me to get scrappy and to be incredibly resourceful. This skill formed the tenacity I have with all the projects and business ventures i’ve created thus far. It has also allowed me to get creative when all things fail and most importantly, communicate with others who are completely different than me.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am an author, a business consultant and more recently the co-creator of a beautiful sacred space called The Elysian Retreat in Sedona, Arizona.

The intention of The Elysian Retreat is to help people find their own version of healing in Sedona. Right now, it currently acts as a vacation rental home for those who want to visit Sedona on a short trip. So far, we have had elopements, intimate retreats, and family/friend gatherings. Our 2022 vision for the space is to create transformational healing experiences to add to the space. I’d like to write my second book revolving around this home of ours and intentionally collaborating with other healers in the local community. Ultimately, we want our guests to receive the transformational healing they need the most when visiting and experiencing the Elysian Retreat.

I started my personal brand and business 5 years ago. At the time, I was living in Los Angeles, CA and I started off coaching people and offering marketing strategies that helped them with their business based off of their unique energetic design using Chinese astrology. I struggled a lot in the very beginning of my business because I had a poor money mindset. After a lot of inner work, i wrote my own book on money mindset as I saw that most of my clients were going through the same problem. I came to realize that one can’t achieve external success when one’s internal views on money is not aligned.

I’m excited to help more people become aligned with money by healing their old money stories and wounds.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my best friend to Sedona and spend the whole week there. As much as there’s a lot of excitement and buzz in Phoenix, I know my best friend would want a transformational week of deep healing.

We would first check into The Elysian Retreat (our vacation rental home across from chapel of the holy cross)

Depending on how she feels I would take her own a nice hike to Cathedral Rock so she could feel the masculine and feminine energy in that area.

We would eat at Chocolatree and recommend her the vegan bean burrito (so good!) i’ll make sure we also order the vegan sour cream and hot sauce.

I’d then take her to get her aura read at Mago cafe or Sacred Elements.

We would come back to the Elysian Retreat to watch the sunset on our massive deck. Because we also have yoga mats for guests we would probably do some Yin yoga to wind down the evening.

The next morning…

we would go down to the creek with our private hiking trail inside the Elysian Retreat. I would then show her how she can meditate on the flat rock in the midst of the creek flowing below us.

Depending on how she feels I’d then take her to the Kava bar. If she feels like dancing or moving her body I would take her dancing. If she feels like shopping, I’d take her to Tlaquepaque.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my success to my husband Roger. We met 5 years ago and during that time, I was at my lowest low in terms of where I was at in my career. He never once doubted me; but rather encouraged me to pursue my wildest dreams and visions. I would not have created all of my creations if it was not for him.
