Meet Kristina Stewart | Permanent Makeup Artist & Owner of Elevated Beauty AZ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristina Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristina, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I am a mother to 3 boys ages; 8, 6 and 3. Having my first son at 19, my biggest priority was being present for him and now my other two sons as well. I didn’t want to work a 9 to 5 job and miss out on them growing up. That’s where I needed to find my passion, helping people. I have loved to help people for as long as I can remember. I worked at the local Ford Dealership for about 7 years as Accounting Clerk then moved into Office Manager after trying the Police Department. Going through the Police Academy was one of the greatest opportunities of my life. I didn’t make it too far as I realized the toll and effect it was having on my kids. They needed their mom to be there for them as they continued to grow and learn. That’s when I created, Elevated Beauty AZ.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Permanent Makeup Artist, in Winslow, AZ. I started Teeth Whitening in 2019 just offering it as people asked about it. In 2021, I created Elevated Beauty LLC (AZ). I offer Microblading/Combo Brows, Teeth Whitening and Tattoo Enlightening. Microblading/Combo Brows are a semi-permanent cosemtic tattoo for your Eyebrows. I love to connect with my clients and help them feel better about themselves. I am currently working at A Stylistic Approach Salon. My goal is to own my own store one day and become a one stop shop for any permanent makeup needs. I want to help you feel beautiful in your own skin.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A good thing about being from Winslow is its a cute little town! We are on Route 66 so there’s fun attractions right downtown with amazing food any which way you turn. You can grab a bite to eat and sit outside relaxing listening to the crowd or sometimes there’s a live band at the entertainment stage as well. When your feeling adventurous you can take a 10 minute drive to Clear Creek where you’ll find refreshing water and beautiful rocks to cliff dive off of, you can even rent kayaks or paddle boards to find your way up to the back of the creek where you’ll see a relaxing calm area for hanging out.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest success comes from the Blessing of God, with him giving me the ability to be the artistic person I am for this industry. Another person I want to give thanks to is my trainer, Cody Lynn Macy out of Gilbert, AZ. I have followed her on social media since she first started her PMU career. Everything she did, I loved. I look up to her in so many ways, how she’s so successful and yet still so involved with family. Also, my family for being so supportive of me even when I sounded less than promising at the time.
