We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisha Vibe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisha, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
This is a question that’s so familiar to my emotions right now. What is Endurance? What is resilience? I am both. The things that break most people continue to make me who I am today. Early this year I lost my precious baby. In the middle of losing my baby I started writing my book entitled Words of Power thats available right now. This was definitely an Emotional roll coaster for me. Like most mothers I was confused because I lost my physical baby but still gave birth to a business this year. Being a full time entrepreneur isn’t easy but when you have a higher authentic calling, expect your faith to be tested so it can always be trusted. Right now I am in a situation and it’s a mental fight, but I choose to keep going. My family are dreamers. As I look into the eyes of my children and see the hope inside them, teaching them that it’s possible to use your imagination to create your reality keeps me going. Hearing from God at times I think about giving up keeps me going. Hearing testimonials from young ladies who has read my book keeps me going. Receiving emails, text messages, and calls on how my book activates the greatness that’s inside of them keeps me going. Seeing the effects of my faith, impact other people lives, keeps me going. Many of us die not because of what we eat but what is eating us on the inside mentally. My book gives direction, understanding, and guidance to people who are, emotionally tired, who have suffered from trauma, and are spiritually drained. I know the “why” for living so I can almost endure any “how”. If you have an opportunity to change the world take it. I decided to take it and help as many women as possible, that is what keeps me going.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My name is Cilisha “Lisha Vibe” Harper I was born and raised in a small town called Humboldt Tennessee! This small town didn’t have much to offer but the people there taught me to dream big. See my parents where high school sweethearts and decided to start a family early on in life. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon nor in the best neighborhood. however My parents taught my siblings and I to escape our reality through music. We were the modern day jackson 5. At the age of 6 I found a passion in singing. Mary Mary,Destiny’s Child, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Spears, TLC, was my favorite girl groups to listen to. As a student I challenge my gift and competed in school talent shows..I remember having dreams of performing in front of thousands of people. For years, thinking I am suppose to be this big star, music is what I pursued but God had other plans. While attending college shortly after I graduate high school, I became a single mom. Although that dream of music seemed slightly possible, I knew something was missing. Like most moms, I struggled with trauma, past encounters, depression, and anxiety. Often times it was hard to find a peace of mind and make time for myself. In the mist of struggling emotionally My sister, passed away. I was confused and hurt, she was my best friend. Here I was a single mom who was living in fear! For many years I would counsel others through music but this time I needed direction, understanding, and knowledge to make it out of my own dark mental space. Life became overwhelming seemed as if couldn’t catch a break; I was ready to give up! But one day I whispered a prayer asking God to remove tenderness in my heart and to guide my footsteps. This prayer lead me to listen to incredible speakers like Eric Thomas,Lisa Nichols, Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins, Les Brown,TD Jakes, Dr Myles Monroe,Bruce Lipton, Bob Proctor and many more. This wasn’t an overnight task so everyday before work I reprogrammed my mind. Doing This made me take risks like never before. I was aware and knowledgable of greatness that was inside on me, I just haven’t fully activated it yet. So while heading to work one day, I got a flat tire. I couldn’t afford to be late because of my points, but I knew it was the last straw. So without hesitation, my job called and told me I was terminated. A feeling of worry began to come near. I wasn’t sure how I was suppose to survive but I knew this was the last ship that surprisingly burnt with no effort given from me. All those moments of listening to such great speakers made its way to my surface. It was time for my greatness to be activated! For three years now I been studying and taking risk like never before. At first, I wasn’t sure why my life path had been set up this way but now I know. It’s to inspire, motivate, uplift, and set people free all over the world.Fast forward today, I have a Beautiful family and no longer a single mom. Seeing the transformation in my life led me to write my book “Words of Power”! I genuinely want to see mothers change their life in a positive way. Inside “Words of Power” is a story of a single mom who struggled from past experiences, trauma, break ups, financial problems and more! Most of the knowledge I’ve gained over the years is inside this book. My mission is to educate, heal, give understanding and build confidence in mothers all over the world. My story didn’t break me it redefined me. Now I am here to pull that same greatness out of moms all over the world. If you have an opportunity to change the world take it! Tell your story !After all you deserve to win!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would definitely take her to is downtown Phoenix and downtown Tempe. We would have drinks at red mountain bar and grill and hang out while hiking through the beautiful mountains. Definitely have to check out Arizona Cardinals game and also Phoenix Suns the energy at the games are unbelievable!
