We had the good fortune of connecting with Lorri Zenoni, DrPh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lorri, what do you want people to remember about you?
Over time, my legacy continues to grow as I see what develops in life and the impact I want my life to have on people. Even as a young child, I had the desire to help people. I held a Ronald McDonald House fundraiser at the young age of 8 by having a carnival-like atmosphere in my backyard and raising funds for this charity. While my parents assisted in the set-up, they allowed me to run the event and learn valuable life lessons. Throughout my life, I have always had the desire to help others, especially help them to improve their own health.
As my own life progresses, I realize that I want my legacy to be that I helped people to live a full, healthy life, feeling their best. I want to provide a value that greatly exceeds what they could do on their own. I want to provide that value with integrity, honesty and compassion. As a young child I was bullied for being overweight. I know the pain and hurt that comes from being unhealthy and I want to make sure that I can empower others to live a healthier life. I do this by providing people with the tools and resources to fuel their bodies to stay healthy and strong.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that living life on your terms creates more freedom to give abundantly and create a legacy worth leaving. Many people my age are still stuck in the rat race, while their health deteriorates. I am blessed to be able to travel all over the southwest and beyond with my husband. We rode mountain bikes from the Canadian Border to the Mexican Border for one of our favorite charities, helping injured veterans.

I’ve been able to create a life on my terms because I can take my business with me, anywhere I go. Whether it’s skiing at resorts in the winter, on the golf course soaking up the sunshine or biking across the west, I want to enjoy life to the fullest while doing meaningful work. I love to teach others how to create health and financial freedom so they can live life on their terms and fulfill their dreams.

As a military spouse, it is also important for my legacy that I give back to the organizations that have been so instrumental in the recovery of my injured husband. With our extra resources, we can contribute to causes that we are both passionate about and that includes helping support injured veterans. It is imperative that I give back to our brothers and sisters that have become injured while fighting for our freedoms. At the end of the day, I want the world to be a healthier place, knowing I touched one person at a time.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being bullied as a young child was a catalyst for my lifelong health journey. I made a vow at that young age to help others improve their own health and improve their quality of life. I worked in the corporate field for over thirty years until the stress of that environment caused my own health issues and forced me to make a change.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would hang out in Sedona, with our mountain bikes and golf clubs. We would set tee times at Sedona Golf Resort, Canyon Mesa Country Club (play 9, with a mountain bike ride in the afternoon) and Oakcreek Country Club. We would golf at these public courses with some of the most amazing views. Hole 10 at Sedona Golf Resort is quoted as one of the most photographed par 3’s in all of the southwest. It is absolutely beautiful.

We would ride our mountain bikes on one of the most beautiful intermediate routes of the Aerie and Cockscomb trails, to include the West Sedona Tour. We would also plan routes on the Chuckwagon-Mescal-Long Canyon trail, the Fat Tire Loop, and possibly include the Templeton Trail. After mountain biking, we would make a stop at Berry Divine for an Acai Bowl. During the week, we would make sure we also had breakfast at the Coffee Pot restaurant, had lunch at Tara Thai (after golfing), the Hilltop Deli after riding and dinner at Javalina Cantina while also hanging out at the Oak Creek Brewery for a cold drink. One afternoon, after golf or riding, we would also check out the Son-Silver West Gallery. I love to just walk around here and see the different kinds of art, pottery and antiques.

We would also try to fit in a hike or two, if they had never been here. Maybe Devil’s Bridge, if we could get out there early or Cathedral Rock. We could drive up to the airport and check out the great views or even do part of the Sedona Airport Loop. If they had not seen it, We would drive up to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I love the architecture and the great views at the chapel. There is so much to see and one week is not nearly enough. But we would make the most of every day soaking up the red rock energy and having the time of our lives until they wanted to come back and do it again.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I credit my love for fitness and natural solutions to my parents. My father was a natural athlete, setting high school track records that remained for years. He also taught me the value of hard work and success, doing what you love and loving those around you. My mother was a natural health guru before there was even a name for it. She encouraged us to always stay positive, listen to what our body needed and use the most natural solution we could.

My biggest supporter is my husband and life partner. He is there for me every day, no matter what crazy idea I may have. We both love life and adventure and keep each other on track as well as validate our crazy ideas. His wit keeps me laughing every day and when he knows I need my own pick-me-up, he will rub his nose on my nose and smile, until we both just burst into laughter. He is the LOVE of my life, and with him by my side, there is nothing in my way.
