Meet Megan Lange: Community Founder & Digital Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Lange and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, how do you think about risk?
In any industry, risk is a factor. But when it comes to working for yourself, starting your brand, and knowing yourself as an entrepreneur; getting comfortable with risk is essential. You are betting on yourself, and as reassuring as that sounds you will have to take more risks and get out of your comfort zone daily to achieve your goals and grow your business and yourself. Getting comfortable with risk is something I’ve had to work on in the last year. I oftentimes found myself “waiting for the right time” or thinking I had to be patient with wanting things to fall into space. But that’s bull honkey. I’ve had to change my mindset to “Why wait” “Why not now” “What are you waiting for to make your dreams and goals happen now.”
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’d honestly have to say I’m at a weird point in my career. Turning my hobbies into my profession can be a little daunting but professionally I am proud of how far I’ve come with just being more assured of myself, what I have to offer and where I want to take my career. I just celebrated my 2 years at GCE as a digital marketing specialist. I have learned so much at GCE about the corporate world and myself. My next steps consist of completing my masters in Oct. and from there seeing where my career takes me in the next chapter. I feel most passionate about my side businesses. I’ve always believed that success to me would be starting something and watching it grow to make it’s the fullest positive impact on those involved. As I explore more of my side hustles I’ve been passionate about growing my network and collaborating with other creators in my community. I think everyone has a self-image and brand to grow and promote. I’ve learned the hard way that not everyone is going to have your best interest in mind. Unfortunately, it’s the industry but I’m sure of myself when I say what I put into the industry only comes from wanting to help others succeed.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I think the people who have contributed to the love and support and their belief in me have not only done just that but have been the foundation of why I do what I do and the inspiration I hope to spread. My mentors throughout the years, my family, and co-creators like Makayla McGarvey and fellow blogger friends. Being apart of Chandler Service Club Flower Girls had a huge impact on where I am now. This group of amazing women has given me the guidance and role models of powerful women making a difference in their community.
