Hi MachGang, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking has been my new year resolution that I have been sticking to fully and I have fully embraced the mentality of not having any regrets. This mentality has brought me so many new opportunities and have revitalized my music career. Every successful young person has had to take a big risk and for me to think that I could be different is crazy, and for me to be in a position of having time, energy, and no dependents puts me in probably one of the only positions in my life to take on any risk and try to become as successful as possible. Risk is just something needed for success and I have no fear of failure because that’s just part of the risk just got to work hard and hope for the best.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is MachGang and you can currently listen to my music on all platforms but I just recently created a new sound of mine that would fall under the alternative rap genre or pop rap. My new song “Too Fast” I just released is starting to blow up and is having great success. It was a lot easier for me to make this song because after the success of my first song I just started making songs in the hopes of achieving what I did with the first. This ended up dropping the quality of music but, this latest song was me finally going back to making what I personally love and would like for people to listen to and it is having a great deal of success even better than my first song. I personally want everyone to know me by my new song and always have the mood lifted when listening to my music and having songs that are really catchy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Tempe, Arizona and there is a lot going on in this city. There is a street in Tempe called mill avenue and there are various bars and clubs on it that everyone goes to on the weekends. There is also a lake in the heart of the city with nice scenery to walk around and Arizona State is located at the heart too which is full of young college life, with plenty of gyms and hiking options for people to enjoy. Overall its a very lively city that everyone should come check out.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s two people that deserve recognition for their part in my success and that’s Clay Susich and Kevin Bozeman.
