We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Regan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nick, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is a scary thing, but the way that I deal with that fear is my belief in Jesus and that He will always provide, whether that means providing finances, opportunities or miracles. I know that anyone who is chasing the dream that God has given them and doing their good work for His kingdom, that He will always bless them. Recently took the risk of quitting my full-time job with stable income to pursue the dream that God has given me, which is being a full-time photographer/videographer. It has been about five months since I left my previous job to chase this dream and it can be challenging at times but I know that I am doing what I love and was meant to do. I am so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to chase my dreams, I know that God will always provide for me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Full Time Photographer and Videographer. Starting a photo/video company nowadays is not an easy task because the industry is very saturated. Photo and Video has become a very popular service that is desired in a lot of different aspects of life. The world is constantly evolving and technology is growing exponentially, everyone is needing some sort of photo or video service. I put a lot of time and effort into creating the best photos and videos I possibly can for my clients. I always hold myself to a high standard when I am creating something because this is what I am passionate about.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite spots in the Phoenix area would be Papago Park and The Superstition Mountains for hiking and scenic views! I love coffee and would recommend Mythical Coffee in Gilbert, AZ. I have also come to love Culinary Dropout in Gilbert as well. I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors and as a Photographer/Videographer I love to capture the beauty of nature all across the Valley.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The first person that needs to be recognized is Jesus, without Him I wouldn’t be where I am today. He is always so faithful and will never leave my side. Secondly, my girlfriend River has been my #1 supporter through all of this and never fails to cheer me on,I appreciate everything that she does. I would also like to shoutout Spintown Creative and Jeff Rogers, he has given me a lot of opportunity and knowledge recently that I have really valued. I am super appreciative of his generosity and friendship, I know that God brought us together at the perfect time! My brother JT Clark as well, he has always been super supportive with all of the work that I have done and I am super grateful for our awesome friendship.
