We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick and Tracy Vanoni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrick and Tracy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We have always been a Christ oriented couple who aspires to service him by serving his people and our community. When presented this amazing opportunity by him through our likeminded partners Susie Rodriguez and Larry Wiley; we felt extremely passionate and compelled to get involved in this journey to serve our community by increasing the quality of life for those in need through the provisions of mental health services.

Our outpatient behavioral health clinic offers a wide range of services within a comprehensive therapeutic environment which includes in-house screening and assessment, adult life skills training programs, group counseling, individual counseling, member advocacy & peer support as well as participating in outreach events in the community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Our vision is not merely a destination but a continuous exploration, an enduring commitment to the betterment of lives and the evolution of behavioral health care. As we forge ahead, our vision remains clear: to create a ripple effect of positive change that resonates far beyond our doors. SonderCare aspires to be the driving force that catalyzes a broader societal shift towards mental health awareness and destigmatization.

Being a resource in the community and seeing the positive impact first-hand in those we serve in an extremely gratifying and rewarding feeling. We believe good behavioral health is a journey, not a destination and it’s never too early or too late to work toward being the healthiest you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We both have family, friends, and other mentors that we appreciate that have impacted our lives.

For Tracy, her parents Rory and Virginia O’Farrell have provided her with unparallel compassion of love and support throughout her life’s journey, thank you mom and dad for believing in me and showing me what true love can do to inspire someone. I have taken those lessons and apply them to everyday life.

Patrick is also very fortunate to have a great support team around him by way of his parents Vic and Peggy Vanoni who taught him early on, that life is not always fair, but you get back what you put forth. That has resonated with him which has shaped his success in his careers and more importantly with his approach to his family.

To our friends, there are so many great people to list that have influenced our lives, and you know who you are. We want to give you all a “Big Shout Out,” and to say thank you for the kindness, encouragement, and friendships as we couldn’t be more grateful that you are in our lives.
