We had the good fortune of connecting with Reena Giola and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reena, you love what you do. It’s clear to anyone who knows you. Why and what about your work do you love so much?
I know it will sound cliche, but I love photography and photographing my clients because I am capturing a moment in time for them. I think we tend to forget that life and relationships are precious and being able to do this, photography, has meaning.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

I am a very small business, a micro business really. I want clients to come to me because they like what they see in my work, what I produce. To see that I love what I do. Volunteering at the animal shelter is something I also do. It is very fulfilling.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Oh goodness….well, we’d hit up the Desert Museum for sure, I love that place…the zoo…..the botanical gardens…. animals, animals, animals! We’d hang out and visit on the back porch to visit and as for eating/drink…. I guess that would depend on what my guest likes…. Tucson has such great nooks and crannies (and restaurants) so we’d have to explore.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

My family is my support group and my biggest cheerleaders when I need to the moral support. Without them, I don’t know where I would have been. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
