We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Riek and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ryan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was allowing myself the confidence and mental fortitude to working independently. I knew I was given that opportunity and understood the benefits of its outcome if I had really accomplished the goal.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a relationship building business, I think long term and quality of my work and how to keep a customer happy consistently. I started with very little, so that was a huge part of learning how to perform better. I was able to take steps toward my creation of the business by not having to much on my plate at the beginning. The start was easy, transition was easy, but the thought 0f all the business responsibilities is what made it feel over whelming. To major quotes have always stayed with me over the years. “Persistence wears Residence” and “Stay Complacent over Brilliance” I would want the world to know about me and the brand? Is that I work hard like. There is nothing Fancy/Unusual/ or mystery to this line of work we are in. We want to get the job “RIGHT”. for everyone. We love to communicate to assure full transparency.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends and family visit Arizona, its inevitable you take them to Sedona, perhaps even Flagstaff. We all know what those experiences do for us. Sometimes a quick trip to Las vegas can be fun and spontaneous. I also love to take visitors to all of Arizona’s great restaurants, Roaring Fork, The Gladly, The Mission, the list goes on. Hiking Camelback Mountain is always a Arizona staple of accomplishments. And lastly, you can’t forget about Spring Training games in the Spring
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Father for sure, he was on the wholesale side of the industry. His relationships had help me with my opportunity. My previous mentor Sha Nabers was also a huge stepping stone in my career. She was a manager when I worked on the retail side of the business at Helzberg Diamonds.
