We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Lachance and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, how do you think about risk?
Have you ever heard of the expression ” no risk, no reward?” There is a lot of truth in that statement. If you want to make a change in your life, you have to get uncomfortable. The bigger your risk, the more uncomfortable you will have to be. It took me a long time to realize that safety was just an illusion because nobody truly has any control. The only thing we can really control is our thoughts and actions. What can typically scare people about taking a risk is the element of the unknown that comes along with that risk. We were taught that the unknown is a dangerous place. I say it is a realm of infinite possibilities.

Risk has played a huge part in my journey. I took a risk to start my business and create a life aligned with my soul purpose in 2020. It wasn’t an easy choice, and I had to be willing to compromise and let go of the outcome. In this space of the unknown is where I learned about trust and surrender.

My advice would be to take the risk, go on the adventure, get out of your comfort zone. Life is so precious. You deserve to be living a life that lights you up!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most excited about what I am planning to launch next. Healers of the Light Academy will be an opportunity for healers lightworkers to learn how to heal themselves and others on a deep level. I am passionate about healing and empowering others.

I knew that I could feel other people’s energy from a young age, and I always felt different, but I didn’t know why.

For almost 20 years, I lived in Los Angeles and had a thriving career as a fashion designer. It allowed me to travel worldwide to places like India and China, where I was able to see and study different healing modalities.

Although I loved designing, I always felt a nudge that I had a greater purpose in this life. This calling became much stronger and louder once I completed my first yoga certification back in 2016. This beautiful experience cracked me open, and I was unstoppable from there.

I slowly merged with my vision and the version of myself I wanted to be. It was a long road, and there were many challenges and lessons along the way.

I had a full-time job working as a fashion designer while I taught yoga and meditation at night in a small studio in Burbank, CA. I did this for about three years. In addition, I would give tarot readings and reiki healings on my days off and weekends. I was dedicated to expanding my practice. As a result, I became a Reiki Master. Certified Intuitive Healer, Crystal Healer, Intuitive Healer, Light Language Channel Reiki Teacher, and Spiritual Coach.

I knew being a healer was my calling, but for a long time, I didn’t think I would be able to create a full-time job out of being a healer until 2020 when the fashion industry took a hit, and I lost my job. I truly believe this was the universe’s way of telling me it was time to step into my calling.
From that moment, I decided to start my business and take the biggest risk I had ever taken. I had been a designer for 20 years, and not having the “security” of my career was very scary.

I let go of my apartment and my life in Los Angeles. I was going to stay with my family for several months to build the foundation of my business. A few weeks before I was supposed to move, I got a job offer in Fashion Design, and I knew in my gut it wasn’t the right direction for me. Before I knew it, I was on a plane to the east coast to stay with family.

I began to build clients by word of mouth quickly. I created a website and then started teaching Reiki classes, which has been so fulfilling. I recently decided to call Arizona my home.

There have been many ups and downs in my journey, but I would say its all worth it. I try to look for the lesson and keep going when I face challenges. I always showed up for my business, even when things were tough. Consistency and commitment are enormous.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way are to trust myself and my vision.

I awaken your Soul and Spirit through transformative ancient healing modalities .Being a healer is my calling. I am passionate about sharing this gift with others. I am a lighthouse for people looking to heal and better their life. I give people an opportunity to reconnect with their souls and live a more vibrant life. I want to teach the world how to become their best healer.

I help you awaken to the true essence of why you came to earth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m still very new to the city, but I love to dine at the Pomegranate Cafe. I enjoy taking long walks at Veterans oasis park and hiking South Mountain. I also enjoy the energy of Downtown Chandler.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, my shamanic mentor, my reiki mentor, and the book ” You are a badass at making money” by Jen Sincero.
