We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Czyzewski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sasha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to have more freedom. Freedom of my time, energy, location, direction in life and financially. Having an employer required me to work on their schedule and at their location. It also restricted the income I was able to make. I wanted more room for growth financially and personally.

What should our readers know about your business?
What I love most about my business is the generational impact. My former career was a teacher and I loved it because I impacted my students mentally, emotionally and in their personal presentation. In pursuing finance I was able to do all those things plus the investments and financial concepts taught impact generations not just one person. I love that I can use my teaching skill to educate families on financial concepts. It is too often that people go to an investment advisor and just say yes and leave confused. I am able to spend time explaining concepts to my clients so they can feel confident and in control. Better yet they can now teach their children, friends and family. There is no better gift than that of understanding how to be financially free. I am also able to coach my team to be able to duplicate what I do. I love empowering people with knowledge and leadership skills.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love El Barraco. The food there is amazing! The atmosphere is so fun and unique and the drinks are always delicious!

Michael Angelos Botega is also amazing. They have the best happy hour specials!

The AR Workshop is so much fun too! It is a great place to learn how to be crafty and you can bring your own drinks. The owner is fantastic too. She has the cutest things in her shop.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Alison Beck deserves a huge amount of credit. I had the entrepreneur spirit, but I didn’t have a business owner mindset. Alison really helped me to see things from a business owner’s point of view. She is also the ying to my yang. She has a fantastic marketing and networking mindset. She also encourages me and uplifts me when things get tough. She is the person I bounce ideas of of too. She is an amazing women leader! She doesn’t have a catty bone in her body and genuinely wants every individual to be successful. She is the most generous person I know.

Ernie Escarcega deserves a huge shout out too. He teaches me to not take the no’s or failures personally, ” it is just business”. He is an amazing motivator and coach. He has shared so much wisdom with me and continues to push me towards success. I love that my mentor sees me at my highest potential and coaches me to it.
