We had the good fortune of connecting with Shannon Bolt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shannon, how do you think about risk?
Redefining the norm and other people’s expectations of us can be a set back in life. I started my career in the corporate world, after many years realized that was not for me, and I decided to take a leap of faith and work for myself. I had life goals and wanted a career that could get me there when and how I wanted.
Taking a risk, requires having faith in your self, having good work ethic and being dedicated to your goals.
What should our readers know about your business?
My path to Real Estate began in fall of 2020. I made the decision to enroll in online real estate school. Once I was licensed I started interviewing brokerages and felt the best fit with the Blake Clark team @ Limitless Real Estate.
I was able to adopt their success methods and pushed myself out of my comfort zone making calls to clients to build my network. Within my first 2 months I closed my first 2 deals, placing myself in the top 3 sales in July.
My heart is to help people find a place to call home and bring joy to their home buying & selling experience. As a past homeowner I understand the hard work it takes to buy a home and unfortunately to lose one under harsh circumstances. My slogan for marketing is “Real Estate Mama”, not only because I am a mother, but I want my clients to feel safe and taken care of with me representing them.
My encouragement to others is to believe in yourself and what you have to offer. Be coachable, go out of your comfort zone, and humble yourself enough to learn from others who are successful!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite spots in the valley are;
-The Coffee Shop in Agritopia: yummy food and coffee
-Gilbert Regional Park: kids play for free and Pickle Ball
-The Olive Mill: Food and Arizona made treats
-Ivy & Sage: shopping with lots of local vendors
-The Drunk Munk: great Happy Hour!
-Fossil Creek in Strawberry
-Slide Rock state park
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad encouraged my career in real estate and had faith that I could make a wonderful career out of it. Also, I aligned myself with an amazing broker, Blake Clark and his team. I have been blessed by his training, mentorship, high business standards and leadership. He goes to the ends of the earth to nurture our success.
I also have been encouraged by the book “The Fred Factor”. An example of how to go above and beyond no matter what career path you are on.
