We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Haines and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As someone who has endured challenging moments in my life, the biggest being the loss of my parents by the age of 26. In an effort to seek positivity, I started my blog Eatingwithtayyy (@eatingwithtayyy on Instagram, and Tiktok).
Eatingwithtayyy is focused on bringing good vibes into the world. I love to highlight amazing restaurants on my feed and share with my followers. Through my blog I also try to bring awareness to mental health and be a source of inspiration to anyone who needs it. If I have an impact on one life, I would say mission accomplished.
In addition to my blog Eatingwithtayyy, I recently started an e-commerce boutique, Rose & Glitter Closet (@shoproseandglitter) Our mission is to make every women feel beautiful. We carry many types of styles and sizes to try to help everyone feel included. I studied fashion management in college and this business represents a chance to live out a lifelong goal of owning a boutique.
What should our readers know about your business?
Eatingwithtayyy is focused primarily on good eats. Building a blog online has not been easy, I am still learning how to grow my community! The algorithms are constantly changing with so much competition which makes it super challenging at times. You have to be on top of the trends, find out the best times to post, engage with your audience, ect. Not only that but you need to make sure your content is something your audience actually wants to see, you should not post just to post. I am super excited and proud that I recently hit 8K followers on Instagram and am hoping to reach 10K by this summer! I have recently joined the Tiktok trend as well so I am hoping it will help with building my community.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my husband. He is always encouraging me to go after what I want, and makes me the best version of myself.
