We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Mendoza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria , if you had to put a million dollars to work immediately, how would you go about investing it?
With $1 million, I’d invest in real estate right now. Interest rates are historically low and Arizona is one of the fastest growing cities. I’d love to capitalize on owning rental properties, doing some fix and flips, and owning vacation rental homes that can be used for AirBnb. I’d love to own 20 properties by the time I’m 45.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a top producing realtor at my firm, who focuses on first time home buyers and luxury listings. I love helping first-time home buyers go through their first real estate transaction, as it’s very rewarding to know that I’m able to be a part of one of the most monumental milestones of their adult life. Buying a home is such a fun and exciting time, but it’s also one of the biggest decisions you can make. As a realtor, I know that my buyers are protected and informed through the whole process. When it comes to listings, my bread and butter is the luxury market. I’m very grateful for my background in marketing and communications because this proves to be a large part of why my clients choose to list with me. I provide my sellers with a white glove experience end to end. From staging, to professional photography and videography, to strategic online and digital marketing, all the way through purchase negotiations and closing. I understand my clients’ needs, values and desires when it comes to listing their home.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
A good mix of outdoors and city life is perfect for a trip to Arizona! If I had a friend in town, I’d want to take them to a yummy brunch spot like Eggstacy in Scottsdale, then for a scenic hike, some shopping, dining out and maybe nightlife in Downtown Phoenix. If we had extra time, I’d also take them to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. You just can’t beat those views.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to give a shoutout to my parents. They fostered a love for the home industry in me and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. My mom is the designated broker and owner of our Brokerage, Impresa Real Estate. My dad owns a high-end remodeling company, and almost everyone in my family works in a home industry. We all truly enjoy helping people love where they live.
