We asked some of the city’s rising stars to reflect on what made a difference in their journey. We asked them to tell us about what they think the most important factor has been behind their success.

Monica Samuels | Founder of Quasar Quantum Healing

When I was studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Management at ASU, I was fortunate enough to be able to meet Mr. Cronkite when he visited, a few years before he passed away. One piece of advice he gave me which has always stayed with me is this: “Persistence is the key to success”. I began the process of opening Quasar Quantum Healing in 2018, when I discovered that the technology which helped my daughter could be utilized to help others. I purchased a building that year, but ran into zoning issues, but I did not give up. Then a business associate I trusted let me down, but I persisted. I bought another building, closing in March 2020. Then the pandemic came, but I did not allow that to deter me. I used the next year to completely remodel the space and design the Center, to secure the most advanced equipment, and to find more reliable business associates. Read more>>
