I think the most important thing that I’ve done as a parent that has impacted my children in many capacities, is being present in every stage of their lives. Isaac Ford | Musician

A commitment to my well-being and personal growth has been my best key to success. In this business, it’s easy to burn out doing as much music making as I do. Looking back a few years ago, I actually did undergo a burnout and it took quite a bit of work to get back into a healthy routine. What ultimately helped me out of the rut was finding positive mental health practices. This meant not pushing myself as much as I had been. I love making music and I find myself driven and motivated to practice without needing to make it some kind of hardcore training. Read more>>

Jennifer Beget | Owner, Lead Designer at J Beget Designs

My work ethic is the most important factor behind the success of my business. I have an innate drive to work hard, which I get from my mother. I call myself a “natural laborer” because I simply never stop working. That doesn’t mean I only work on my business, but I can hardly sit down and rest or watch a show. I start to feel guilty because I know there is always something to do and get done. Read more>>

Eve | Rollerskating Entertainer

n important factor behind me and the idea of what I try to embody and further represent is really fun fitness and fashion with a normal lifestyle. More fun and less pressure of motherhood and being a woman in my 30’s plus. I think that realness really resonates with many because I’m relatable. I wear what you wear, live where & how you live; and look and age the same way. I show the rawness of learning something new, and with time and hard work what results can be achieved. Read more>>

Guinevere | singer/songwriter

The smell of flowers in the first days of spring, my hair unkempt after a wild trip in nature, walking barefoot, being in a care-free creative process, seeing my mum busy with her garden, my dad sharing his guitar ideas with me, eating soulful food, the idea of floating on the surface of the water, being on stage, a deep conversation, making tea knowing that I will not drink it, post-lunch naps, being able to finally see/hear/touch something I’ve been working on for a very long time. I don’t know why, nor do I feel the urge to understand it, but it makes me feel so fulfilled. Read more>>

Establishing a work environment centered on mutual respect, positive relationships, and setting a foundation for long-term employee commitment has been a primary focus since the beginning. Frankie Leyva-Doherty | Baker-Entrepreneur-Yoga Instructor

What drew me to pursue a creative career was the freedom and enjoyment it gives me. I’m allowed to put all the random thoughts and ideas I have into use. I’m free to use my imagination to create new flavors, colors, textures, patterns, and basically make edible art. Once I discovered that I could make money and that others would pay for my baked goods, I was committed to the idea of using my skills to pursue launching a baked goods business. I discovered a niche market of underserved people that wanted a tasty baked good that was vegan and or gluten free. After a few years of taste tasting I launched Nana Louisa’s Bakeshop, a vegan-gluten free-organic concept that specializes in mini bite sized treats. All the flavor, none of the guilt. Read more>>

As far back as I can remember I knew I was born to entertain. I feel in love with how I could make people feel . Make them laugh , cry ,make them feel seen.
