I discovered my passion for tailoring at a young age, sewing my first outfit at just 9 years old. I was a civil litigator at a medium sized insurance defense firm when I was contacted by my child’s school advising they wanted to evaluate him. The process of evaluating him began for special education. I had some disagreements with the School District during the process and could not find a lawyer in the field of special education to help me. One of my partners at the firm I was at had a special needs child, so I asked him for help. He was wonderful and helped me navigate along with my sister who had been a special education teacher before becoming an attorney. She worked at the same firm as me at the time. Read more>>

I’ve always loved photography. From the days when I had a little point and shoot film camera and would take photos of my stuffed animals, to moving up to a point and shoot digital camera and documenting my international travels. Even with those less than ideal cameras I’d challenge myself to take a photo every day for a year to document the world around me. Read more>>

After twelve years in the Commercial realm of Interior Design, I came to the realization there would always be someone above me who made the final design decision, and I was merely a contributor. My talents and creative ideas were not being fully utilized. I had big dreams of being the one who created, set and implemented the big design goal & vision for my clients. I played college golf at Washington State University and went to work for The Golf Channel following graduation. After a short professional playing career, I landed a coaching job at Oregon State University. In 2004, I was hired to start a women’s golf program at Fresno State. Being involved in the wine industry wasn’t on my radar until 2008 when I attended a NCAA coaching seminar lead by then Arizona State University Women’s Golf Coach Linda Vollstedt. Coach V was an incredible coach and every year she held a seminar in which she invited 20 or so coaches from around the US. Read more>>
